Welcome to
the Harvard School of Public Health Tango Club!
Our next 4 week series of beginner and intermediate classes will start
on Wednesday, August 4th with Carlos and Tova Moreno!
See the classes
tab for more details. The class descriptions are as
follows:
BEGINNING:
Fundamentals
The
Argentine tango is an improvised walking dance. Students will
learn how to connect with a partner while walking, and to lead and
follow weight changes, pivots, ochos, la cruzada, check steps and the
turn.
INTERMEDIATE:
Steps for Small Spaces
Working
in a close embrace, we'll explore movements such as sacadas,
ganchos,
boleos, and volcadas that work well even when you've got very
